A New Room!!

Hellooooooooo dearest friends!
Finally It happened: I've found a room that I like!!! It's not really in the zone I had hoped for, but the very good thing is that the Metro is at 1 minute away from my flat, so.. in 15 minutes I'm standing next to the colosseum!
The zone is called 'Monti Tiburtini' and lies in the north-east of Rome city centre. It's a neigbourhood full of apartment buildings, with in between some bars, butchers, a bakery, little shops,.. but no real supermarcet.. that's a pitty but there is no problem that can't be solved!

Well, to give you all a bit of an idea:
I'm living together with 2 other people: a girl Graziella of 20 and a boy Giuseppe of 24! First I thought they were a couple, but know I discovered that they are brother and sister! The flat belongs to their parents, so they live here for free and rent out the third (and smallest) room of the flat! They seem very nice but real students who really study a lot!
Of all the rooms I've seen during my search (about 20 rooms) this was the cheapest one! So before coming to look at it, I thought I was about to see a very small, smelly and dirty room.. But it turned out completely the opposite way!
The room has a normal size: this means you can move in it without losing yourself in it! It has a bed, a desk with chair, a wardrobe, a bookcase and a night table. I moved in 2 days ago, so now there hanging a lot of pictures, posters and other stuff I brought with me! It's getting there.. Still, the room misses something... I think once I'll hang some nice curtains and hang a big poster on the for now very white wall, it will be 'FINISHED'!
Still I need to adapt a little to my new room and new environment, but I think I'll be fine here! Also manuel's room is a 15 minute walk from here so that's very reasonable!

Otherwise, everything is fine! I'm still working on my touristic book of Rome! Over 3 weeks my boss will come to check out the walks I descrived, and then I can write everything down like the asked me to! Then normally the book will be for sale in Belgium and Holland from september 2008 onwards. I must admit, there are worse jobs in live then this one!
Well, this was my big news!

Hey daar!
Fijn dat je een eigen plekje gevonden hebt en dat het je zo'n beetje bevalt! We kijken al uit naar je debuut als schrijver. Ik stap eind dit jaar de FNAC wel eens binnnen op zoek naar je boekje. Zou de max zijn als we dat vonden... Hier in België alles kits. Karolien en ik zijn vorig weekend opnieuw vertrokken op dansstage naar Nederland en we hebben ons weer rot geamuseerd! Het was hartstikke gezellig! Ik kon maandag op school wel bijna de trappen niet meer op, maar dat hebben we ervoor over!
M'n mailadres verandert binnenkort aangezien we vandaag overgeschakeld zijn op telenet. Ik laat je nog wel iets weten.
Anders niet veel nieuws... Geniet maar rustig verder van La Bella Italia!

Het ziet ernaar uit dat je goed gesetteld bent. Ik ben blij voor jou, want zoeken en niet vinden kan stresserend zijn. Je Engels is er trouwens niet op vooruit gegaan met al dat Italiaans in je oren. Opdrachten: a) je brievenbus in de gaten houden b) je ticket back to belgium boeken voor 11 april c) mij laten weten wanneer ik mag afkomen! En vergeet ook niet de andere stappen van je masterplan. Moet ik ze anders nog eens opsommen?
