20 November 2006 | Italië, Rome
My new class is huge! 18 people in total, while the limit is 10-12! Still, It doesn't bother me because this new class is really good for me: they speak a bit better Italian, so I can only learn from it! Also the new teacher is really nice! Untill now, I havn't really had a bad teacher! They're all very enthousiastic and full of live! I like that! Although I like my new class, i do miss my old class a bit! We were only with 7 people but we got along soooo well! It was soo nice that you didn't really had the feeling that you were in school! It felt more like a tea-break! Last week we even had a buffet of "dolci" ( I prepared some chocolatemousse), and last thursday we made a movie we had been working on for 1 week! The title is " Dolce d'Amore", and it's about an impossible love between a italian girl and a maffioso! Luckely I didn't had to play the main part, but instead I had to be "the singer", who returns in every scene in an other shape! Very very very funny, I can assure you! Especially the bloopers! Our teacher Susanna is now busy copying it on a DVD!
The problem with this class was that on friday two girls finished the course and returned to their homes! What a pitty! we really got along very well! Especially with Michela, my swiss friend! She really is crazy! Because last saturday was her last day in Rome, we went for a big last tour, had coffee, dolci and gelati! Lovely! Saying goodbye is always horrible, cuz who knows when you'll see them again! Anyway, I enjoyed my 3 weeks in that class very very much! So, we were only left with 5 people, so they decided to mix us with this new class... that's why we're such a big group!
Otherwise.. what's more to tell! Well, this weekend I felt a bit sick.. Probably because the weather is changing.. Untill now weather has been great (except for these 5 days Vivi and Liesbeth were here: then it was very cold and it even rained! Still, we had such a great time!!). Since today, it started raining... Fortunately, the temperature doesn't really go down.. it's still 15 degrees during the day, and even on saturday evening we had a drink outside, on the terrace! Eventhough I felt a bit sick, I did decide to go out with my favourite dutch buddies (Milou, Steffi and Huei!), my French casanova (benoit), the dutch casanova Sjoerd,My ex-classmate Jessica and my funny-ever-dancing Valerie! When we arrived at the club we wanted to go to, there was a problem: WE didn't know Roman disco's work with dresscode.... meaning, we didn't look fancy enough to enter! Pfffff, so we decided to go to another one close to Torre Argentina! This was an old abandonned school-building where they used two rooms as disco! I must say, It was really really much fun! A bit of an alternative crowd, but I liked it! So, we danced untill the lights went on! (this is 4am! Roman clubs always close their doors between 4-5am!)
The next day was of course a bit of a lazy day... The only thing i did was: cleaning, washing clothes, doing dishes and watching some episodes of Sex and the City at Steffi's and Milou's place! Nice for a sunday, no?
Big plans for this week havn't come up yet, but I'm sure I won't get bored! Probably tonight we'll go for a drink, then I'd like to go to the movies as well sometime this week, then on friday there is an erasmus-party, and on wednesday we also go to this bar called "la radio"! Two people from school work there, and it's a nice place, so why not!?
Okay, I'm off to the supermarket now! Hopefully this week i'll manage in putting some more pictures on the internet! I guess it's always nicer to see what I'm writing about!
Ciaaaaoooooo, e a presto!!
