Still in Belgium..

Helloooooooo sweet everybody!!!

How are you all doing?? Busy doing exciting things or falling asleep at work? No matter what you're doing, here is a perfetct moment to relax and sit back because I'll tell you a bit what I've been doing these last months!

Well, to be short: not much! As I wrote in my last little message, I did a summerjob in september, which made me again a bit more "rich"! I can't complain, it did pay well!

Before realizing it, october had arrived! I started off what I'm still doing: JOB-HUNTING! But I wouldn't be me if I didn't make it a bit more complicated.. I'm looking for a job in Italy! Untill now I havn't checked any vacancies in Belgium because I'm still convinced that if I give up now, I'll probably won't leave anymore... And really, even if Belgium is really a fine country to live, I want to get experiences abroad! Who knows where I'll end in the end!

Anyway, in the middle of october, Manuel came to visit me! We had the best time! The sun was shining every day, and by bike we crossed all Flanders! Every day we picked one region we wanted to visit, and then, with the bikes attached to the car, we drove up to the area. By bike we then visited everything in the neighbourhood!! Ooh my poor muscles! We even got a bit tanned! We always came back to my place in the evening, but one night we remained in Gent, where a great friend of mine lended her flat to us! Fantastic!! I felt like being a student again, living in Gent and doing nice things! Also Manuel was nicely surprised by Gent, my city!! Maybe he was to scared to say the opposite...

On the 20th he left again! Very sad indeed.. Luckily we can call eachoter everyday for free because our phone company offered a promotion: call for free to one country in Europe from landline to landline! so, of course I picked ITALY! The problem is that over 1 month the offer is finished.. So, I don't know how we'll continue.. Especially since where he lives there is no fast internet, so skype doesn't work..

Anyway, 27th of december he's coming to Belgium!!! I didn't want to be in seperate countries when the new year arrived, so we just booked the tickets before getting even more expensive! The nicest thing is that the 2 of us, will take the car up to Germany to go visit my fantastic roommate of Rome, cara Alexandra!!! I havn't seen her since june so it's beginning to get time to hang out again!! Maybe the other crazy Italians will come as well, so wauuuwww, that would be just FANTASTICLY AMAZING to celebrate 2008 all together!!

What are you all doing for New Year? Small or big parties?? At home or in another country?? Anyhow, enjoy it! I think it's always something special when a new year arrives!

Untill christmas arrives, I'll continue my job-hunting... Very boring I must say! Of course there are also other things to do: for example a little trip to Normandy! Last week we went there with a whole group of friends to hang out and relax! And i can assure you: WE DID!! It was wonderfull! And do you believe we even had breakfast outside every morning?!! Really holiday..

But about job-hunting, I don't give up: one day i'll find something!!
